- Changes are not guaranteed, especially close to departure
- Approved changes may incur additional costs

- A CruisePilot booking change fee
- Supplier‑imposed fees, such as reissue or cancellation charges
You will always be advised of any applicable fees before a change is processed.
Time Limits on Changes
Cruise lines apply strict rules around amendments:
- Some changes may not be accepted within certain timeframes
- Requests made close to departure may be declined entirely
For the best chance of approval, we recommend contacting CruisePilot as early as possible.
Cancellations and Cancellation Fees
If you choose to cancel your booking, cancellation fees may apply. These fees can be up to 100% of the total booking value, depending on:
- The cruise line or service booked
- How close the cancellation is to the sail date
- The supplier’s cancellation policy
Failure to cancel a booking or a no‑show will still result in charges.
If a refund is permitted, it will be processed according to the supplier’s rules and timelines.
Payments and Automatic Cancellations
- If full payment is not received by the required due date, your booking may be cancelled automatically
- Standard cancellation fees may then apply
To avoid this, please ensure all payments are made on time.
Refund Processing
Refunds are governed by the cruise line or supplier’s terms and conditions.

- If payment has already been sent to the supplier, refunds can only be processed once funds are returned to Cruisepilot
- Government fees, port charges, taxes, and surcharges may change until final payment is made and documents are issued
