You can only earn Velocity Points on a CruisePilot booking if you are the lead passenger travelling on the cruise. Bookings made solely for friends or family members are not eligible for Point earn under your Velocity account.

How Velocity Points Work with Cruisepilot
When booking a cruise through Cruisepilot:
- Only one Velocity member per booking is eligible to earn Points
- The eligible member must be the lead passenger on the booking
- The lead passenger’s name must match the Velocity membership account
These requirements ensure Velocity Points are awarded correctly after the cruise is completed.
Booking for a Friend
You’re welcome to help a friend make a cruise booking, but please note:
- If your friend is travelling without you, you will not earn Velocity Points
- Velocity Points cannot be earned if the Velocity member is not travelling on the cruise
- Your friend may earn Points instead if they are a Velocity member and listed as the lead passenger
